How to Play Kdvli Okey (Banko Okey, Sayılı Okey)

Kdvli Okey, also known as Banko, or Sayılı Okey, shares a similar gameplay structure with traditional Okey. However, the scoring system used in Banko differs from that of standard Okey.

In this game, when one player finishes their hand, the other players incur penalties based on the value of their unmatched tiles. The total numerical value of unmatched tiles determines the penalty imposed.

Before discarding a tile, players must properly arrange their completed sets, known as "per." This is crucial because penalties are calculated based on each player's arrangement prior to discarding when someone finishes.

The game requires a minimum of 5 rounds and can extend to a maximum of 10 rounds.

The indicator on the table can be either black or red; if it is colored, it signifies a special rule, whereas a non-colored indicator does not carry any additional implications.

When there is a colored indicator on the table and a player finishes the game, the remaining players face double penalties. Moreover, if a player ends their turn with an Okey tile or completes it as a pair, the penalties for other players are also doubled.

For example, if a colored indicator is present and one player finishes with both an Okey tile and a pair, the penalties for the other players increase eightfold.

If a player has formed pairs and another player finishes the round, they will receive double penalties.

Upon finishing under conditions of a colored indicator, the completing player earns 50 points, while with a non-colored indicator, they gain 25 points.

In games utilizing indicators: when there is a colored indicator on the table, accumulating points from it yields 50 points; under a non-colored indicator, it yields 25 points. Players may reveal their indicators at the start of their turn before drawing any tiles.
